I agree but espn kept pimping this idea.

I attribute that simply to ESPN trying to be objective in their coverage and not spend the whole time gloating over LSU, who was clearly the better team last night.

I love this feeling of satisfaction the WVU fans are getting simply from putting up a lot of yards, even though they lost by nearly 4 touchdowns. It clearly shows what kind of expectations ya'll have for your team.

WTF? Who else has the qb and receivers to duplicate what wvu did and who has enough balls to do so. Arkansas and petrino is it and that will be at home. I think this is all about nothing.

Ark has no defense! JL Inc will shredded them!

To be LSU you need:

A. 3 or 4 really talented receivers. (Check Florida, Auburn, Bama and Arkansas).

B. To have a very effective screen game to keep the pass rush honest (Check Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Bama and Arkansas).

C. A power running game (Check Auburn and Bama)

D. A QB who is accurate on short to mid-range throws (Check Florida, Tennessee,Auburn, Bama and Arkansas)

E. No turnovers

F. A good run defense (Check Florida, Bama)

G. Ball hawks as DBs (Check Florida and Bama).

Only BAMA fits all your criteria

Only the refs can steal the game from us at Tuscaloosa and keep Alabama close and in this game.

LSU with its huge Turnover margin + 2 per game is gotta be near # 1 in america ... This is where we beat Alabama ... And Lee having another excellent game managed well with no turnovers or 1 max.

AND WING STEPPING ON THEIR GD NECKS AND PINNING THEM AROUND THE GOAL LINE ...

If the blueprint calls for about 70 passes and a four-touchdown beatdown, I'm just fine with other teams using it. More power to them.

I am hoping Chavis will modify his approach a bit by the time LSU plays Arkansas. Bama beat the crap out of Wilson, and it worked. LSU laid off of Smith, and he threw for a helluva lot of yardage. I think Arkansas has better skill position players (minus Austin) than WVU.

would love to know what school you went to that gives you the idea that i'm satisfied? seriously, english/reading comprehension. it's not that difficult.

that's a simple fact, no-one else in the sec will do what wvu did in terms of the game.

no-one else on the rest of your schedule runs that type of offense.

With Crocodile Puntee on our side it would be tough to beat LSU considering field positions and the Chief's D. Go Aussie, go Chief,

your punter alone is enough to win you games. when both teams are playing a field position type game. he constantly put my eers with 80-97 yard fields to drive. and the odds/percentages are not in your favor when and if you have to do those types of drives..they just aren't

You are misunderstanding the situation - it is not that we are scared to face this offense again.

To be honest - I don't think other teams (especially in SEC) think that it is a great offensive strategy to have zero running game and rely on the dink passes as the only option.

Almost every WVU fan seems to be hung up on the 500+ without concentrating on -26 at home and only 3 drives out of 13 with points.

You keep bringing up your misses - the LSU DBs missed (hit the hands and dropped) at least 4 more INTs ala the first one of Lee that was dropped by Tandy I think.

The fact is the D was told to get the O in good position to score and they did that FOUR times. If that meant giving up some yards.. meh... The point is to have a win not fantasy football yards.

thats what we were trying to tell you this whole week
but you saw it last night
West Virginia played the best game they could play and still came up way short of even being close to beating us

no i'm not reading into his words that he wrote in response to what i posted. i'm taking them at face value. can't stand it when someone says...well you really mean this in your words. no my words are face value, no double talking or tongue twisting.

we are still trying to find our running game. i knew this, wvu knows this, the wvu faithful know this. anyone who has seen tape thru the first part of this year for wvu should know this. the dink passes are the answer for not having a running game. for whatever reason our oline does better at pass blockin than they do road grating with running blocks.

i would rather put up 200 yards of offense and win than put 800 yards and lose.

It might have something to do with the fact that you guys kept saying you have the best secondary in the nation. You guys acted like you have the greatest defense to walk the Earth and they should just be playing on Sundays. We either exposed your defense as that not being true or Geno Smith is the greatest QB ever. Don't get me wrong though you guys have a great defense and were clearly the better team.

I would say only Ar-Kansas and Florida have the players to duplicate the effort WVU had. That being said I don't think either of those schools are going to keep LSU out of the backfield. WVU committed to preventing a rush with 7 blockers at all times. No SEC school is going to waste an additional two men unless it is a must.

On offense...you bet I did. Dyer is a legit RB and they have some good receivers. QB play has been pretty good.

Auburn simply has a shitty arse defense, which is why they will lose to LSU, Alabama and Arkansas.
