Season premieres will always be like that due to anticipation b/c of the offseason, imo.

Am I the only one who thought the first episoden was not that hat great? Dylan is not funny and his storyline was dumb. Same goes for the storyline of the new York kid.

Luke has always been a favorite of mine despite not getting the screen time he deserves (imo). Scenes with him and Phil generally have my side aching.

I'm with you. It had it's moments, but for the most part I didn't find myself laughing nearly as much as have at past episodes. The second episode, I thought was better than the first, but I was actually kind of disappointed with both of them, overall. Still love the show though and I'm sure *for me* it will get better as the season goes.

I love when they are together because Phil just becomes a 40 something kid. For instance, when Claire is talking to Luke about the attick, Phil just poking his head out was hilarious.
I thought for sure Phil was going to be the "thing" sleeping in the corner at the end.
