That they have a better feeling that this team can win it all. From say 2 months ago. Even someone who doesn't know anything about football, has to be pleased with the start. I think that Oregon will run the table and there are only a few teams that can stay on the field with them. Yes, we played a gimme Sat. night. But with playing Miss. St. Thursday night, it was like a good scrimmage to work on polishing up some stuff. This is not a hate on anybody but with Mett getting an entire half. The Tigers have a little bit bigger comfort zone. Besides a head start on next season. If the ball keeps bouncing in the Tigers favor. This could be another great season.

that's me.... I had no confidence in jj and wasn't sure what the d would look like. D, biggest fastest defense i've seen take a college football field and lee only has to manage and not make the big mistake. Solid, solid team.

Me. I thought that our lines were suspect and that we'd lose something from losing PP7. I'm happy to say that I was wrong.

Let's play a couple more games. LSU has only played Oregon and an FCS directional school.

I feel more confident in the team after the Oregon win and seeing them perform against NSU.

But I was never on the JJ bandwagon to begin with.

I don't put a lot of stock into what the coaches say in the offseason, but I was confident before Shady's we would have at least 10 wins. Afterwards I kind of had no clue what to expect. Feeling better now. Even if Lee messes up or gets hurt I think Mett can do well. I still think next year is our best shot.

I think the Josh Johns loss will hurt us in the long run.

Seriously, I can see us getting into a dog fight with Bama. That one is up in the air. I feel confident with the other games. Its a tough schedule but it sets up well.

We are very good but the SEC is not very good as compared to past years. Bama is our only competition. I like our chances in an SEC with no defense.

Since 09 i felt this would be our tear. Sr qbs, fast d that onky gets better under chavis. Having uf and auburn at home. Tenn being down, having that solid ooc game to give us a boost in the bcs if we slip up. And the game being in nola. Has all the makings of 07. But 2the losses wont get us out if the west.

Considering Oregon is W whereas two months ago it was and upcoming game contributes a great deal to this feeling.

I was not very hopeful in the returning QB...
I WAS very confident in our D,(whats on paper is holding true to the field)
I was not sure about our special teams, pleasantly suprised..
I knew we had the talent on O, but hoping simplfied system would allow it to be better used.. I am glad things are playing out this way. I also believe these players have bought into CLM plan and that they are on a mission! They seem very focused and believe in this team

I don't think we have enough offensive firepower to be 'special' as in National Championship type special. I do think we have a very good team, capable of a BCS bowl.

I think LSU has a true legitimate shot to win it all the next 3 years. You usually have a in a couple of years, or next year they have a chance. But we are freaking loaded now, and for at least 2 more years.
