Arm Talent? QB Pedigree? Yes he can throw the ball well, but QB Pedigree? Do you work for ESPN?

i agree, but im not looking for never-done-before accomplishments and a heisman. i want a better passer and believe the guy with less SEC snaps is it.

I can name one better than Cam Newton, Mettenberg. Atleast, that's what I've learned tonight. He's got that QB Pedigree, you know?

lee's passing wont win the BCS title this year

but his ability to pass will. He does not have to complete every pass, he just has to have the ability to throw the ball to a receiver in stride. Did you notice how O stacked the box and then once Lee threw a few downfield backed away?

The back-up QB is always better than the starter.

Most misleading stat ever. I'm looking forward to rewatching the game tomorrow and reiterating how much of an idiot you are.

How pathetically transparent are you???

You've been crying about Lee for a while now. No matter what he does, you're going to find something to cry about.

Go. frick. Yourself. YOu and all your ilk.

I guess yall missed it. Lee was 9 for 10 threw no picks and threw a touchdown! Oh and Mett looked good as well. Although his stats were worse.

LSUTIGERinTEXAS- Did you watch the same game I did. The passes that Mett threw were the same ones that Lee threwExcept he did throw one way down field. Oh there was one that Mett threw that was different than Lee's that was the one over the middle for about 15 yards but he threw it way behind the reciever, awful pass. Oh and Mett's touchdown pass the reciever had to stop his route and wait for the ball, terrible timing. By the way Lee missed 1 and Mett missed 3. Both QB's ran the plays that were called.

JL actually stepped into a few of his passes but Mett appeared to step into all of his passes. Mett looks more natural....but shouldn't start over Jl YET.

Negative, when Lee has a great game (and not just throwing screen passes and handing the ball off) against MSU, then I won't "find something to cry about." I just don't think it's gonna happen, that's it.

This.

the dude who showed Lees passes showed that they should have been caught, mostly, fwiw. it was a good thread and our WRs obviously fixed the drops issue they had. i assume it was nerves.

half of his total yardage came on passes that went ~15 yards in the air, sorry douche. once you grasp that simple arse fact we can move on.

GFY btw

Lee did what was asked of him. We are a run first team which is what we should be with the depth we have at the position. We run to open up the pass and it works. Our receivers played much better, Lee wasn't asked to throw the ball too much and he did pretty damn well when he was. He's matured tremendously since that 08 campaign and has a much better team behind him. He will probably not be asked to win us the game, just manage it which he's efficient at. Our running game and defense are really good so we'll be right there in every game and if we have to put it on Lee's arm, I'm confident. He's shown time and again that he can be clutch when needed.

Mett is great too and will do some special things when he becomes starter, but no reason to throw him in now when Lee is playing well.
