Magee is obviously 5th on the depth chart.

Speaks volumes to our depth. I wasn't too impressed with number 3 or 4, but if Magee can redshirt, great. I bet he plays garbage time late in the season though.

It's obvious ford is pushing for the number 1 spot. He may have won it tonight.

Ware is the better of the two. He is a smoother runner than Ford. But both will play in the NFL.

We are stacked.

Ware/Ford
Blue

Absolutely. Hilliard has played both games and is obviously going to play first.

Anyone see that OBJ run? Shep doing that = yes.

Magee would probably be an easy 3 on the depth chart if needed. But given how solid, if unspectacular, that Blue is, you might as well give Magee the redshirt. You never know when a RB will need an extra year of eligibility, no need to burn it on one or two carries here and there.

it's more obvious to me now that they want to redshirt him..doesn't mean he isn't the third or forth best, just that they have the talent and depth to play this year without him

He was the last RB in the game for us tonight after playing FB earlier in the game. Had a fumble unfortunately...

We are very good at 1/2 but I am not a Blue fan.

Blue may have some redeeming qualities, but he doesn't seem to possess anything that separates him from any of the others. Looks like he just runs into the pile.

Ditto. After watchig him on coverage units, I'd love to see him
at lb. Good thing I'm not a coach. Either way, it's easy to
see we are recruiting to be, and are effectively running a power running offense. I love the fact that they kept the OL in so long. All rb compliments should really start with the OL.

Hilliard and Gores fumbles will hurt their playing time. Gore didn't impress me at all.Blue is very solid even if not spectacular. Let Magee rest this year unless we need him, never know in the future who leaves.

If Magee isn't injured, I'm going to be disappointed if this isn't because he is red shirting. I'd be shocked if he is 6th on the depth chart.

The play calling for Gore was terrible. The guy needs to be in space--not power toss plays.

Yeah he actually looks better on special teams.

If we sign Jeremy Hill (if he isn't convicted), then move Blue to LB.

I agree, the run up the middle isn't Gore's best chance. I thought he would be similar to Shy Carey but he isn't that type of back, i have been excited to see him but was disappointed tonight.

I think you cant judge him on tonight. The guy is an outside runner with speed/slasher and we ran him between the tackles all night (2nd team OL) and the defense KNEW the run was always coming. I think if we can mix in some legitimate plays for his style he could be a good weapon.

His fumble is unacceptable though.

Ware is incredibly talented but I think Ford may be the better back..

on 3rd and 3 give me Ware, though. he's not gonna get stopped.
