Heard this at about 4pm coming back from Springfield,MO. Did a search and you can see the links talking about it. This shite is getting deep. Also heard Kansas, K-State, and Mizzou also said they won't waive rights to sue. lol.

The host basically said Mizzou don't want to join the SEC because of the tougher competition, then started talking about the academics, etc. Said Mizzou would rather Big Ten, worst case scenario Big East because in the Big East they'd be able to compete towards the top, easier conference to win compared to SEC.

Also made reference to the SEC and their culture dating back to the Civil War. Thinks the SEC wants to keep those states from the SOUTH, Missouri would stick out like a sore thumb. Said Missouri have strong southern ties but is still divided and not as strong as the REAL southern states. Which is true, can tell by the Politics in this state. He believe the SEC will pick WVU or another team from the Southeast. Also dissed the SEC saying shite like Mizzou don't want to "play in the mud with the PIGS", said he wasn't talkin about Arkansas. Referring to the SEC only cares about football, would do anything to win at no cost(saying a lot of dirty programs). How Mizzou wouldn't want to be associated with that.

Now this is a talk show host from Springfield, not anything from people at Mizzou unless he spoke with them.

But he did speak with Iowa State's play by play guy, the guy basically said ISU would probably sue if TAMU joined the SEC. frickers are PISSED, yall are leaving them out in the cold with nowhere to go

No one is signing the release except OU. I'll bet OU wishes they hadn't piled on our academics now that the Pac 12 announced they really don't want to expand at this date.

frick all those bastards across the Sabine.

Mizzou is certainly more southern then WVA. Those dudes broke off from VA because they didn't support the doomed Confederacy.

All the SEC wants is access to DC area. The war was over 150 years ago and no one in suits gives a rip about that anymore. It's about TV's today and yankee TV's are desirable.

If so then I take back everything nice I ever said about Mizzou, because those would have to be the most ignorant bastards ever born.

Hike your asses to the Big Whatever, Mizzou, and watch your Texas recruiting pipeline rust away. Nearly half of Mizzou's roster is from Texas. If they move north or east then they can kiss it goodbye and become a good rival for Iowa State.

Well then by all means, they should head to the Big 10 where there are nice, reputable schools who always follow the rules like Ohio State.

It is certainly obvious to me that Mizzou doesn't cheat. If they did they might be better.

Doesn't Mizzou know anything about Civil War history? Mizzou would be more "southern" than WV easily considering WV wanted to be with the North so much they broke off from South to rejoin the North. That, and as mentioned earlier, suits don't care about history. Just so long as the school can be considered "Southeast" they will be fine in the suits eyes.
