We have never in the history of US Soccer had a talent like Hazard. shite Mertens was the fastest guy on the pitch. Even our speedy guy Rapist Rogers wasn't faster than their left back. I really had low expectations going into the match.
Torres played really well and Shea showed he belongs in the top level of the game. Shea is really good in 1v1 situatiuons. Wish he would have first time shot on that ball in the box around the 80th minute. We had a chance to sneak a point on the road against a better squad.
Not much to really bitch about IMO.

The Belgians were very tough in the 80s and 90s, that's for certain, and have always had good solid players. For a smallish nation, like the Netherlands, they've always been tremendous. It's the game.....that a nation like Belgium can make World Cup Quarter finals, and our 325 million can't find 25 solid, world class players amongst all our athletes.
Hazard, Mertens, don't forget Felliani and Dembele, as well.
I'm still not all that concerned, it was only 1-0, and Klinsi wants to see everyone at his disposal. Some of us warned this would happen. They're friendlies, this is what they're designed for, mostly. Sure you want to win, badly. We're going to head down this road for the next few months, until qualifiers.
