i never understood why fans get worked up when opposing teams players seem confident.

would you rather them admit defeat before the first snap?

You have to figure he's probably a pretty solid player though...it's not like he's starting for LA Tech

freshman center, I dont care if you are world class, your hands will be full...probably full of jersey.

Not trying to be that guy, but did we have a game last year where our D-line lived in anyone's back field?

Maybe its because the player who was ahead of him graduated last year...

Their interior starting OL is made up of guys who weigh 290, 290 and 275. The center being a redshirt freshman.

Brockers and Freak will have a field day.

I am a bit concerned, but I would be more concerned if he got the job by default. He beat out more experienced players.

Besides him, there is only other person on the line without significant starting experience. The line concerns me, but it concerns me less than WR. then again I was confident about the line agianst Boise St, and LSU is certainly beeter up front then Boise St.

The only thing thats got me worried at all is, if our young D over run plays, being to agressive. Other than that we are good.

Well, don't confuse OSU speed with UO speed.

agreed.

esp after we handled them in the Rose Bowl. The key to beating them is to force them to throw the ball downfield

He's 6'3" and around 291# (redshirt freshman, injured most of last year)

Here's a few comments I pulled from the Eugene newspaper on Grasu.

"Grasu offers potential as well. He has the best blend of strength and athleticism on the Oregon offensive line, finishing first in most of the unit’s timed agility drills over the offseason and second in the power clean and squat in the weight room."

Oregon didn't even block Fairley in the BCSNC game. They let him through on quite a few plays, I think they learned you have to block DTs in the SEC.
