Football Players to Blame - Must be Suspended!!

21 year old football players out three hours after curfew, at a bar named Shady's, after having it schooled into them over and over and over that doing this is one of the dumbest, worst thing they could do.

21 year old football players getting into a fight at said bar at 1:30 a.m. during training, etc is beyond dumb. I have been around college football plays a long time and in generally every case, they could have avoided an altercation, as they could have here. Get out of the way of the vehicle and upset people, be a piecemaker, stay calm, realize people know who you are, crack a joke to lighten the mood, etc. People who even bad mouth a player around town, will not want to get into a fight with the player, etc.

Using excessive force and committing battery, regardless of the charges or legal outcome...if a player struck a downed person, or even a smaller person, from whom he could have walked away, etc. FULL SEASON SUSPENSION FOR THIS!!

Football players are told that they cannot go to places at night because nothing good happens. They are told to be friendly, diffuse, walk-away. They are told not to hit and hurt smaller people...other students or anyone. They are reminded that they represent the university. They are asked to abide by curfews so they can stay healthy, rested, out-of-trouble and sharp in practice and on the field. Upperclassmen, particularly QB's, are taught to lead by example, which is not that hard...stay in bed at night...you are no doubt tired.

Some idiots think they are above the rules. Now the team has lost focus, the coach looks dumb, the university is in the national news negatively, etc. Not Good!

Coach needs to announce suspensions now, and within that two week period, pull the trigger on whether or not to extend the suspension to season-long.
