Personally, I think its his opinion. Even if the coaches have made up their mind, which I doubt (what would be their rush). I still don't think they would have made it news to the team knowing it would get out. Also if the decision was made why would they not just put it out there and be done with it.
Lets say he does know for a fact, it is still inappropriate for him to put it out there! Either way i'm not buying just yet.

if JJ does happen to get into any kind of trouble with this, do you people really think he wouldn't be suspended?
how would that look on the program if we had our QB commit a felony two weeks before the season started and then allowed to play?
if he was an Andrew Luck, then maybe, but this is Jordan Jefferson we're talking about here.

Well if this has any chance of being true, why would Miles keep having him take snaps with the first team?
Seems like if the odds of this being true were good, you would see Lee and Mett getting the reps w/ first team even if the investigation was ongoing. Miles first priority is the team and having JJ take snaps with the first team would be in total disregard to whats best for the LSU team as a whole for the season.

I guess they have pictures of every angle of the face, but that doesn't seem like it could be conclusive.

Hey Rants! This situation is being handled by the LSU Administration and the Athletic Department (Compliance Office), not Les. He will be told what to do by the attorneys and the big time financial backers of the university.
Don't think for a second that the "Cajun Cannon" has not talked to his son or Attorney Nathan Fisher and knows the "inside scoop". Les should not have called out T-Bob like he did. The Cajun mafia is strong.
