This is what needs to be cleared up. The media doesnt watch the full practice. Do they even know why JJ didnt participate? Was there mention of any of the other 4 participating? Was JJ just not participating on that one drill?

You aren't going to get much more. And if you want my take, I feel like Miles and Lee already know he will be starting in two weeks. Miles knows its to his advantage to keep his decision under wraps as long as possible. The longer there is uncertainty from UO as to who starts, the less time they have to focus on one style offense from the tigers. And while it would be a shock to the country that he suspends JJ at the last minute, it wont shock the team.
and the fact that he has kicked the media out, plays to his advantage even more.
