Glad to hear. I was hoping he wouldn't be lost in the shuffle.

Same things were being said about Ford last year and everyone was freaking out he would never play. Seems to me Miles is trying to get him motivated, Ford played very well towards the end of last year - he actually made the option play a success again.

How can this be Ford playing well? Everybody here was saying he got demoted to 4th string.

MAybe reporters (looking @ GG) will stop taking the made up scrimmage stats from Les as gospel...

In leadership situations, you do what is needed at times to get the persons attention - Miles saying Mett was in the doghouse, and Ford moving down the depth chart are tactics to get them to dig down. Ford will play a lot - TM14 is the surprise at RB.

Chim i agree with you about ford. Ive watched option after option and seems best when JJ and ford are running it.

Good to hear.

This is nitpicking on the article but bothering me nonetheless: Why is there a pic of Richard Murphy at the top of that article? Couldn't find one of a current back?

Is Ford gonna run between the tackles any this year or is it gonna be just outside stuff like the option? I wanna see this cat line up in the power I and explode through the line.

I prefer it to JJ running the option. Assuming we have a good OL and FB of course. We still run some power I, not as much as we used to. Big Les likes it.

this article is nothing more than GG's defense of his BS "running back depth chart" debacle earlier in the week...this one is just as much speculation as that one was.

We never run power I. Power I involves 3 backs in the backfield. It's the I, which we do run, plus another back either left or right of the I fullback.

You almost wonder if by the way Miles talks about the RBs is he really does hate Ford.
