per Shea...

Mickey Johnson says that he still hasn't been cleared to enroll. He/Alonzo Lewis are the last 2 in 2011 class. Answer could come this week.

I'm really hoping Lewis can get in, he's a physical specimen, and you never know what's gonna happen when someone doesn't qualify.

I hope MJ can get in. He's gonna be a beast with his strength on the field.

I hope MJ gets in. I don't really know where Alonzo projects, or will see the field, with what we have coming in.

When did St.Pauls start graduating people that cant qualify for school. I went to St Pauls and I could at least get into school.

There are a few young men there that will probably "make the grades" but probably not qualify (MJ) imho. They all can play football though. Coincidence - maybe. It seems different now as opposed to what I remember. I know some of the faculty there and it is still a top notch education for "most" of the grads. By all accounts MJ is a good guy and a great football player. I just hope he utilizes LSU to catch up on the academic side (if, in fact, he comes up short). He deserves an opportunity to be successful both on and off of the field. As for St. Paul, lets just say you and I have the same expectations. Time will tell I guess, but this looks as though it could be a common theme in the future. I sure hope not, for the kids sake.

the way I read the bylaws, you can only make up 1 core course and it must be at your high school. If you need more than that you're not a full qualifier.

The NCAA needs to launch an investigation as to the shittiness of their clearinghouse department.

That really isn't fair. This is a message board, and if you want to point out spelling errors you would certainly have a full day. EVERYone does that.

St. Paul's will graduate anybody who pays their tuition and doesn't get kicked out.

When I graduated, several of my friends that didn't have the grades to graduate received "faux" diplomas that did not have their names on them, just to spare them of the shame they would be put through by not walking with the rest of the class they'd spent the last 4-5 years with.

They all then had to take summer school in order to boost their GPAs enough to receive their own diploma. St. Paul's cares about graduating all its students and will make the necessary effort to make sure each student whose parents pay good money for their education receives a diploma in the long run.
