Jordan Jefferson, Jarret Lee or Jamie Howard?

The negative attention Jefferson gets is still going on, and most have forgiven Lee for his RS Freshman year, but Jamie Howard had to deal with death threats after the '94 Auburn game after throwing all of those pick 6's.

These days, LSU football is a lot easier to criticize because of the internet compared to 1994 when it wasn't as big. The expectations today are higher than in 1994 as well.

What do you say?

At the time, I'd say Lee. With Jefferson we lost a few games, but a lot of people forget how bad some of the losses in 2008 really were.

Howard no doubt. I went to the Auburn game and witnessed the meltdown. Negativity was king!

I barely remember Howard, I was pretty young then. I can say though, I saw JL's torture. He got it on here, on the field and definitely off the field. Often times he was getting tortured around campus too. He definitely endured the worst single season in my mind. I'm honestly surprised JL never ended up transferring considering the abuse he received.

JJ probably the worst over his entire career but it will all decide on this year. If he does well, all is good.

From one game? Howard
During their career? Lee without question.

Lee has been screwed over 10 times more than JJ, yet people will act like JJ is some type of martyr of the LSU program these last 3 years.

Jordan Jefferson has had it worse than Les Miles, which is ridiculous.

All these Rantards who now LOOOOOVE Les Miles and give him 1,000 every damn day were calling me a moron for defending him last spring and early last season.

Same thing will happen this season with JJ now that we don't have a retard calling our plays.

What negativity has JJ had to endure compared to Howard and Lee? Lee's offense even with the pick 6's was better than any offense JJ has ever lead. 2009 was blamed on the OL. 2010 was blamed on Crowton. JJ hasn't received anything near what Lee got in 08 as far as negativity from the fans.

Howard by far, but we fail to recognize the true cause of the negativity in all three cases. Piss poor coaches. We shouldn't have anything negative to discuss about these players because they shouldn't have been put in the positions to make so many mistakes. That sorry piece of shite Lynn Amadee is to blame for the '94 Auburn debacle. Howard should have been pulled after the 2nd pick six, let alone put in the same situation 4 more times. Pathetic Coaching! Lee had no business ever starting for LSU. He is too prone to screw up. He lacks poise. Doesn't seem to handle pressure and complexity well at all. Jefferson's athletic ability overcompensates for his inablility to be a true field general, but that will only carry you part of the way. You can't win championships with that style QB with any consistency. LSU will be good with Jefferson this year. They'll probably win 10+ ballgames, but they need a true field general to win it all. If Jefferson hasn't separated himself clearly and decisivly by now(his senior season) he's not going to. That decision is on Miles. It's not their fault. All 3 of these young men just wanted to line up and give it there best in doing what the COACHES directed them to do. The responsibility lies with the coaches.

Lee without a doubt IMO.
There are some mentally challenged people on this board that still believe jefferson is actually a good qb!!

1.

Jamie Howard
He had death threats, end of story he wins.
2.

Jarret Lee
I feel like a bitch about it now but me and friends were all ridiculously happy when he got injured that year. (Before I get torn apart on here, I feel like a dick about it and never wish that anyone gets hurt)
3.

Jordan Jefferson
He was heavily criticized last season but he was sharing the blame with Miles and Crowton.
