Out of State Visitors

Ricky Seals-Jones Sealy (TX) –Texas/LSU battle but Texas has a lead right now, Texas insiders say he is a lock but LSU has been recruiting him very hard, Les Miles was at his school a couple weeks ago
Ishmael Wilson Dallas (TX)- will commit if offered by us, big time prospect, one of the best OT’s in the country, Texas likes him a lot but LSU leads
James White (TX)- likes LSU and is expected to be offered at the junior day
James Cox Alabama- likes LSU a lot but not sure if he will get an offer
Everett Anderson Houston (TX)
Connor Feist Houston (TX)
Akeem Harrison Killeen (TX)
Ellis Jefferson Denton (TX)
Christian Morgan Plano (TX)
Reggie Chevis TX
Jordan Huff Alabama
Kenneth O'Neal South Grand Prairie (TX)

Jay Arnold Rockwall (TX)- has invite but will not attend
Isaiah Golden (TX)- has an invite but highly unlikely to attend, he has shut it down after his A&M Commitment
Justin Manning- has not heard from LSU and will be going to OU’s junior day this weekend, he is considered a OU lean

If you have any additions or anything, feel free to let me know.

I would be very surprised if we come out of this weekend without any commitments.

Taylor does not have an invite.

I think those La kids will attend but I am not sure yet.

Its very early for these guys and I really don't know this early. Just guesses so don't put much stock into this.

Kenneth Santa Maria- 55%, Bama fans seem confident, i dont know

Ishmael Wilson- 90% if we offer

Josh Thomas- likes Texas the most but may not get an offer, he may be forced to a school, LSU still evaluating him no offer

Karl Malone Jr- 40%, likes bama, too early to tell

Justin Manning-40%, main competition is OU but watch out for TCU, i don't view Texas as a threat, wants to visit in march

Vincent Taylor- he doesn't have an offer and was told to camp this summer, was very inconsistent his Junior year, Texas may offer him if they miss out on all their DT target (seems very likely)

Kendell Beckwith-95%, no way we lose this kid

Jamil Collins-Relation to Jalen?- haven't seen much about this kid, don't know how good he is but we have a lot of DB prospects we are looking at

Bama fans seem to think they will go after better targets at this position so I think he will wind up coming to LSU

Word is that Miles offered him. Also has offers from Miss State, Ole Miss, and is expected to be offered by Tennessee by the end of the week. He is on track to graduate in December.

A little extra info, the kid was Mr. Basketball in South Carolina.

2014, Need to have Sione Palelei from East Ascension, either as a RB or DB. Kid is getting interest from Notre dame and Michigan. He's small now (5'8ish) but benches 315 and squats 420 and is tough as nails. Parents are typical Samoans: HUGE.

UPDATE: Has also been offered by Arkansas. That makes (in no order) Ole Miss, Miss State, LSU, Arkansas

This kid won't be an LSU caliber recruit, but there is a 2013 running back in Monroe, Alex Biedenharn, that has averaged more than 10 yards per carry at RB the last two years, squats 400, ran a 4.42 40 this week, and is 5'10" and 175. He's a very good return man, too. He'll make some smaller school a good back. Film is on Youtube. Not sure what camps he'll hit this Spring, but he's get exceptional feet and hips.

You guys should be recruiting former New Orleans native Tyren Jones. I think his dad played at Grambling State, Tyronne Jones, in the early-mid 1990s.

Tyren Jones, class of 2013 RB at Walton High School in Marietta, GA.

I’ve attended Walton’s last 2 games and the kid has left both games after 2.5 quarters of play [left in the mid 3rd quarter of each] due to Walton having big leads and he’s had in excess of 200 yards in both and 200 yards in 3 of Walton’s 4 games played thus far. This past Friday he had 279 yards on 21 carries. He also had runs of 66, 7, 27 and 60 yards called back during the game…..If those penalized runs had counted he would have had 439 yards on 25 carries in 2.5 quarters.

Check the run at the 4:33 in the linked video 2-3 times…..SICK

Check the linked video at the following marks:
LINK
2:25
3:05
3:25
3:36
4:33 (watch 2-3 times…especially the move at 4:36-4:40 on #22 & #3…..Moves are SICK)
5:15 (worth a 2nd look)

Unfortunately, his last 64 yard TD…..which was his best run of the night…it was crazy…is not shown.

LSU fans....I posted about this kid in September 2011 due to his being from Louisiana, I think LSU would have some interest. His stock is starting to blow up now as he's recently measured 5'9 1/2", 202 at UGA and Bama's Jr Days and his 40 time is in the high 4.3x/low 4.4 range right now. Up to 12 offers with Alabama, Auburn, UGA, Florida, Oklahoma St, North Carolina, Oklahoma St and UVA being among them.

I really believe he will end up as a 5 star by signing day 2013.

NUC Underclassmen has him at #2 overall in the country

National Underclassmen Top 10 for Class of 2013

and Rivals (CLUELESS when it comes to ranking RBs) and 247 Sports ranked him on thinking he was 5'8", 185-189.

Tyren Jones 2011 Highlights

Well, he all but sewed up his 5th Rivals star by committing to the Tide. Kid knows how to increase his stock.
