Why does everyone on here hate Mike Andersons?

I don't understand it. I know the wait is a pain and the prices are pretty high, but I've always thought it was a good option for ole time BR fried seafood and gumbo.

The one in Gonzales is pretty bad. I have never been impressed with a meal there, and for the price it's not worth it at all.

I dont hate it but if Im going to pay their prices there is just better to be had.

Eh, I don't know if people really HATE it as much as it was just overhyped and you have to pick the extreme other side to even it out

I was pretty underwhelmed by Mike Andersons the last time I was there, to say the least. I'm sure I'll give it another chance eventually, but I'm not tripping all over myself to do it.

I don't know if it is hate as much as disappointment. Mike Andersons used to be very good, broiled seafood platter was once my "last meal" option. It was great but the last time I had it, it wasn't the same, items replaced and taken off not to mention the prices have gotten kinda silly, t many places around BR where you can get the same menu for better prices.

Gumbo and fried seafood yes. Everything else no. Thier fish dishes are way over priced. The Norman or the something else was horrible. Baked fish topped with wayyy to much butter cream n mushroom. Just not a fan of it.
