They are putting one in The Summit here in Birmingham. I saw on their site that all the other locations are in Louisiana. Is it just another moes/baja/chipotle or better?

It's like Moe's but better.

Have you tried that new Mexican joint at the Summit next to the burger place?
The burgers in there are damn expensive for the size but the talent (waitresses/hostesses) is pretty impressive.

It's like a non health conscious Chipotle.
Not saying they are all nasty and greasy. I eat well there all the time.

it's better than all of those. it's good but filling like the burrito ron burgundy enjoyed in anchorman.

It's similar to those places but I like it better than Moes and Chipotle
Haven't tried baja so can't comment
The illegal burrito is huge
I usually get tacos, nachos, or a quesadilla there
I think they have better toppings than those other places and the pork is pretty good IMO

Sounds like we're getting another fricking chain in the biggest fricking chain capital of the state.
Why Birmingham won't invest in good local fare I'll never know.

Izzo's Illegal Burritos.
overrated.
they give you a little amount of meat. the chicken looks like the crumbs you scrape off the bottom of a bbq pit.
although they will give you 10lbs lettuce, cheese, and other stuff you dont really want a lot of

I get the tacos pretty much every time I go there.

i personally like more toppings than chicken. that is just me.
but its nothing spectacular. just a normal burrito with different toppings. It actually taste more "american" than an authentic burrito.

I don't mind Izzo's, but I'd rather Felipe's over them anytime.

I went there once to see what all the hype was about and was disappointed. Never went there again. When pharm reps bring it to our office, the beef and chicken taste like a pile of salt and we wind up tossing it all away.

Good but too expensive IMO. It's like 1$ to add certain things that I didn't realize until I paid 13 for a medium burrito combo. Most places don't charge 1$ for guac, mushrooms, etc. but they do. If it was cheaper it'd be awesome.

I like Chipotle better. Izzo's isn't bad for a quick bite though. Only reason I went about once a week is because the co-worker loved it.

How did Izzo's get 5 pages?
