Looking for greasy hangover food in NOLA

Yes, I know it's not hard to come by, but give me some ideas Uptown/Garden District that I maybe wouldn't think of right off the bat. I ate Guy's yesterday, so let's eliminate that from the beginning. I'm thinking po-boy/soul food. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cafe Nino's on Carrollton. Hole in the wall Italian.

What is an orleans slammer? I just got on my couch on the northshore after a very long weekend in the quarter. The only food I ate was a cheeseburger at 7am yesterday morning. Senator David Vitter declined my steak offering Friday night at the dinner we attended.

Went there the other day. Pretty pricey compared to other places and didn't blow me away.

I don't feel like waiting but I would love an Orange Freeze right now.

Ended up at Panchita's on Carrollton. Cafe Nino and others were closed. Great authentic Mexican. I assume Freaux can back me up on this.

what day/time did you try and go? It's usually always open.
Nothing better than stuffing yourself with some good Italian when hungover.

Nino is never crowded. A dirty unknown solid restaurant.

Really good pizza and a legit cheese steak.

Gotta go with the Chicken Marsala, Lasagna, and a piece of pizza.
