Real Salt Lake is easily the best team in the league.

New York far and away the most talented team in the league, and probably the most talented team in the world for the pricetag.


The low salary cap was put into place to ensure the survival of the league. Without it, MLS would have collapsed before 2000.

As the league has grown, the shackles of the cap have slowly been removed. That will continue to happen as the league continues to grow, but you have to remember that the league lost 200 million dollars in its first 10 years.

I am aware of all of that, and I'm not saying that the league is doomed or anything like that.

More than anything i just hate when Garber talks about parity. Everytime I hear him say it, it just me think of someone who thinks he knows what fans want, but doesn't.
