Yeah, the horse has been beaten, but this is a pretty good summary of the whole ordeal, and the consequences of indecision (and deceit, I guess) on Miles' part.

the star recruit spent about as little time working with the first teamers as Nick Saban spent at home raising his children.
I got a kick out of that

Does not mean jack shite to Miles if his QB decision "dooms" a potential national championship season.
Miles can do whatever the frick he wants with no consequences.
Due to financial obligations to Miles, LSU has no control in that employment relationship and people just need to get over it.
Is Miles the kinds of guy that would take advantage of the situation? Probably not.

come on man, this hack is talking about the spring game and not what happens in practice. Les is just a sneaky guy that's why players love him. Get a life
To believe this you have to believe Les doesn't care if he wins and doesn't value what his players want. That's simply not true, sorry

Just what the rant needed... another ignorant opinion piece about Miles/JJ.
This is why the Rant is thought so little of.

I almost lost interest at "Websters".

The only truly good thing/informative thing about this link is the accompanying link in the left hand column to the "Hottest Bartender" Competition. Good to see that Baton Rouge still has its share of talent.

I suspect that the author and I have the same end game in mind: a legitimate starting QB for LSU. And I suspect that he and I would be in violent agreement that Jordan Jefferson is not the man for the job. But that was a horribly written, overly pretentious article that--in my judgment--does more harm to the cause then good.

that is as spot on as the statement that Jessica Alba is hot. Perfectly stated.
