Ty Willingham, the fraud

Am I just late to the party? When did this book come out?
"Bow Down to Willingham" - How White Guilt Enabled a Malicious Coach to destroy the once-mighty Washington Huskies.

I still contend that Willingham is an incredible entrepreneur. He went from position coach to head coach, was mediocre at Stanford, got the Notre Dame job, was pretty bad there and was even worse at recruiting, was fired according to most because of his "race", then parlayed his ND "success" into the Washington job. And predictably, he was awful there and equally bad at recruiting.
I think as of last year he was still getting paid by both ND and Washington.
Kudos to Willingham.

No kidding. I got a chuckle when the media raced to his defense after ND canned him, and I even had a few Washington friends telling me how good he'd be at Washington.

For what its worth, I think Gilbertson destroyed that program, but no matter what, Willingham is a shitty coach.

Ty has a pretty sweet life. Plays golf all day (which he was doing anyway instead of recruiting) and collects money from multiple schools because he sucked
