But you probably never like him at all.

The logic is flawed and maybe tainted, "Start Mett"-after a non contact on the QB spring game vs a fast viscious,SEC game or PAC Ten leader for that matters-over the QB who gave up his FR redshirt year, for a desperate situation, has taken a huge amount of punishment, but never punked out, taken booing from the home crowd and subsequently one of the things he has done is, saved LM from a career damaging lost to Big Bad Bama and Nick Saban, because inspite of everthing and the killer competition- he played unshaken.
Some people hope or think in their feverous mind, LMs is going to slap a player in the face who has given his all; by starting a Johnny Come Lately player out of the gate. Besides he is unprove-sure he's big he passes good in practice, spring game practice etc, and beat up on some small time FR and SO in Juco. But, wait until he does well against the,mad bad big boys, before you crown him "saver" . Wait until he get's his chance, and Miles will make the best call, The "JJ has done nothing","is nothing" "Implications", comes across as a intentional ungratefullness or just plan MALICE.Seeds that are not good along the way.

guys we have finally gotten Jordan Jefferson to post on the Rant

Dude, did you watch JJ play last year? Saying he played poorly is a fairly objective statement. Stating LSU needs better QB play is a very accurate statement. They are observations, not judgements.

QB is THE position that will have to improve in order for LSU to win the SEC. Everyone wants better QB play.

JJ had his best games in the two biggest games of the season: vs Bama, very big game obviously, and in the cotton bowl, secured LSU a good finish and decent spot in the final polls. JJ seems to perform his best under pressure and not meaningless spring games

both games where the coaches had more than a Week to prepare witht he game plan

I had a dog named Chewbacca. Chewy was a fine dog, and had all the makings of becoming a great companion. There was one small problem. He loved to take dumps on the rug in my living room. We tried to train him for 3 years to stop taking dumps inside the house. There were in fact periods of time when Chewy would not sh1t on the rug, and relieved himself outside like a champion. Finally, one day I stepped in crap for the last time. I gave Chewy to a homeless man off of Florida Blvd. The End.

frick yeah.

I'm about to get a dog today. I was browsing craigslist and saw a free dog that I like. He's a badass, I saw this dog and I thought, "If I get this dog, I'll be like a man on top of a mountain. I'll grow a beard as badass as Zeus himself. This dog will get me all the ladies." So he's bringing this dog by tonight so I can take it.

frick yeah.

I agree.

The continual bashing of his efforts is both unseemly and in poor taste.

JJ didn't name himself starter and he doesn't call the plays or decide which series he plays. He only tries to do what's asked of him to the best of his ability.

I might be disappointed that he didn't improve as much as I would like to have seen, but I'm not going to be calling him out over and over and over like some broken record.

All 3 QB's will do the best they can cause that's what players do 99% of the time.

We all would do better just to let it play out w/o all the eating of our own, but each to our own.

or the other meaningless games during the SEASON where he routinely goes 2-15 with 30yds and 2 picks.

If only every game could be a bowl game for JJ....

dam that's a sad story, just couldn't house break the dog. I also one time had a dog named chewy (probably not that uncommon a dog name as puppies like to chew up stuff). But he got run over by a car.

Awwwwright. Damn it is so gratifying to get a new Basher in here. The dude went to all the trouble to register under a different name just so he could come here and Bash Jefferson. Way to go!!

Show those sunshine pumpers what we Bashers are made of. You are welcome here truckman and your old identy is welcome too.
Got to keep the Bashing of Jefferson going. We are proud of you. The Daily Jefferson Basher Brigade salute the effort you made to create a whole new identiity just to get a Bash in. You are a true member of the Brigade.
Keep up the Jefferson Bashing. It's what we do.

Good one infidel. Nothing like a scatological reference to really smear Jefferson. (Pun intended) The Basher Bragade is proud of your inventiveness and class. You are truly a dedicated Basher. You are the type of person and that is the type of post that helps define what we are.

Nope.
Not until the last Basher gets tired of it. It is my sworn duty to support all the JJ bashers no matter how inane or silly their post may be. JJ Bashers are a select group and they must be encouraged to Bash JJ at every possible opportunity. The Bashing must continue until all the sunshine pumpers are driven into internet hell. There is no Bash too small. And there is no Bash that must go un encouraged because Bashing is what makes us MEN.
The Bash Brigade RULES!!
