After watching the Cavs-Heat game last night, I became curious about how the hive would react to Chris or David returning with another team?
For me i think it would be very mixed, but i still wouldn't be surprised if a majority of people booed Chris but not David. What would you do and what do you expect the majority of the arena to do? (With that said i want both of them to stay to dont jump on my case)

Boo CP3 especially if he is playing for the knicks. I would cheer for David West.

Cheer for West. Do nothing for CP, though that could change based on his attitude next season. If he keeps his mouth shut and goes out giving 100%, I'll cheer for him if he leaves unless it's for the Knicks or Mavs.

They'll both get booed. JR Smith was getting booed for a few years and he got traded away.

I can guarantee that DW would not get booed.

I'd probably cheer for DWest just depends on what team he goes to. CP would undoubtedly get booed

Maybe not by you but your random uninformed fan will.

Hornets fans are very aware of what's going on this season. We realize the situation DW is going through. He's given everything to the Hornets, and it is somewhat expected. CP is a whole different story. If he opts for the LBJ treatment, he will be booed.

I have tremendous respect for DX. I'll be like those people who love Shaq and buy a new Shaq jersey every time he switches teams. I'll love David no matter who he plays for.

I think the majority will feel the same way. Maybe a couple of drunk, uninformed "fans" will boo, like saintsfan said.

I'm suprised by all the love for Dwest. Compares to last year I felt like people would boo him.

CP3 brought my love back to the NBA since Reggie retired. I would be mad for a little but ultimately I would pull for him

Coming into this season i wouldve been more than happy to get rid of D West. Even though i know it's a contract year for him and usually makes players try alot harder, but he has definitely won my respect by his effort and his willingness to stand up for a teammate.

D-West is guaranteed 8.25 million next year, he's not going anywhere. No team is going to pay him more than that coming off an ACL tear, and that should keep CP3 here. That's the way I understand it.

The crazy thing is Landry has averaged 21/7 the last three games since West has been out. It will be highly unlikely we sign him if West picks up his player option(basically a guarantee).

We could have probably saved another $2-3 million next year and a shite ton in the future if we would have ended up replacing West with Landry. I think West is better at this point, but Landry has looked great so far and is young.

I'd imagine CP3 gets booed. He's played like a bitch this year. Granted this will be from the majority of fans that don't know the full situation. If NO can't find a competent owner then I wouldn't blame him for leaving.

Outsider perspective.

If either of them leave in FA it is their right. I would be a little upset if they tried to force a trade like Melo or Kobe back in the day.
