Pitching on MLB The Show 2011

I find the best way to pitch with classic controls is to switch to analog.

I haven't played The Show (any of them) but it seems like all I hear/read is complaints, especially when it comes to hitting.

I really wanna get a baseball game but is the hitting really THAT hard to figure out?

its not hard to figure out, its just a hard game. people bitch that they can't hit but they swing at everything, and if you swing at everything the cpu wont throw you strikes. If you actually take pitches, they'll throw more strikes and its easier to hit.

and as far as the pitching goes, its not going to go right where you want it every time...even pitchers that have great control throw junk every now and then.
