Just wondering if anyone with inside access to the practices can hook a brother up.

HE'S NOT WEARING #18!!!!!!
JK. No idea. I remember a few people lamenting that he has a hitch in his throw like Cutler does, but he still has a cannon.

Early word is Jefferson looks like the most polished QB out of the bunch. LSU uses a lot of roll out passes and Mett is struggling with that big time. He can't get his feet under him fast enough. Jefferson will be the starter.

He's breaking receivers fingers left and right

i dont believe that at all. after watching jj for 2 years

JJ and Lee look the same. Mett is having issues with the rollouts and option plays, go figure. The kid is a pure passer. He's not a fricking option qb. Put him in the shotgun and let him sling it. We don't need to have a running qb if we can pass it all over.

That's what every coach and media outlet guy is reporting right now. Just today Buddy was saying that something just seems different with JJ that hasn't been there the past 3 years. Maybe Mett is lighting a fire under his arse. Who really knows. None of will know shite until we line up in Dallas.

My buddies cousin said that right now Mett is throwing the ball a lot but so are JJ and JL. All 3 of them are making some throws but not much else. He said that Mett is bigger than JJ right now but that could change. Shaping up to be a contest between who is going to be the best. Hopefully who ever wins will end up starting, but he said that is yet to be determined.

Our quarterbacks are all throwing the ball a lot? Well, that's good to know.

A lot of QBs make huge strides between their jr and sr year. JJ has shown periods of greatness (as has JL) so having him continue to get better is not that much of a stretch.

“He can definitely throw it,” Miles said. “He’s a very smart quarterback in terms of reads and those things on the field.
Zach Mettenberger is as good as advertised. Mettenberger look to be a full inch taller than Jordan Jefferson and he tips the scale at 250 compared to 220 for Jefferson. Mettenberger has a cannon for an arm and hit Russell Shepard in the middle of the chest on a 15-yard slant pass route that knocked Shepard to the ground. Shepard will probably have a bruised chest for a few days. Mettenberger has a great future at LSU the next three years.

I know. Seems to him like the spring game is when you'll get to see more about who is the playmakers and who is not.

What day is the spring game?

Greatness? JJ has NEVER shown anything close to greatness

I would bet those QB's did not regress from year 2 to 3

Thanks for the info. I am just not sold on JJ. After watching him for the past couple of years and seeing nothing but regression and missed passes, I think we need a new direction. But who knows, I am just a fan and my opinion doesn't matter.

Agreed, I'd like to see JJ throw to an open WR in the spring game. I have a hard time thinking JJ will change how he operates under fire and become a leader. That said, he does have someone that will coach him in Krag
