I can't see how it will be past this season. Either that or the AD doesn't care about embarassing losses and poor attendance.

He'll get next year. And I'm at 75% that he would get the next year after that as well.

He needs to be gone ASAP. He cannot coach, recruit, motivate and is a PR nightmare. Knowing Alleva he will probable do the PC thing and give him another year.

Trent is the worst coach at LSU I can remember. You know why they will probably keep him....

I have never been so embarrassed by an LSU team!

Is 15 yrs long enough time for LSU forgive Johnny Jones? I wonder if LSU would ever even consider him after what he took the blame for.

And I have never been so embarrassed by an LSU post. In four lines, you managed to discount his three Coach of the Year awards in three conferences (one came two seasons ago at LSU), overlook the top 20 class he brought in this year and the McDonald's All-American coming in next year, and, worst of all, suggest twice that the only reason TJ will be back next year is because of the color of his skin.

Just to save you time in the future, I think everyone got the racist overtones when you referred to him coming back as "the PC thing" and you didn't need to hammer home your ignorance again.

TJ has not done a good job the last two years. It is possible to admit that without discounting his past success, including the good year he had here two seasons ago.

They just seem to be very inexperienced and not SEC caliber yet. You can't fire him this year IMO and not hurt the prgram more. He has some bad luck this year with injuries. Coaching can only tage em so far, I mean no matter how many time outs you call or how many times you tell them work the ball inside if they can't do it what do you do. To me he just doesn't have many options offensively right now.

because, genius, basketball is not football in Louisiana. There isn't the talent football produces, especially post-Katrina.

This is Alleva's guy...ain't no way he bailing on him.

My buddy received an email from Alleva : (on the hiring of TJ)

"TJ will bring LSU basketball to heights it's never experienced"

That's how much confidence Alleva has in TJ..

Patience are in order
