Don't see Alexander going anywhere but Alabama. They will promise him the Jack LBer spot

And they're losing most of their Jack LBer's, they have no depth there. Great selling point, I can't imagine him not going to Bama.

What about Terrell Lathan from West Monroe, or is he locked in at DE?

He is a pure DE... not a LB.

Who would you consider an elite outside of Granier?

Right about Alexander in that we have no shot(bama, auburn texas) but he is not a Jack.If any of the big Lbs is a jack for them from AL it's Casher(FSU may just hold on to him we'll see) or Reggie Ragland.

Watch out for a few of the Texas LBs if we choose.Texas can't take all of them and there are quite a few good ones over there.Of course oklahoma will get a few but there should be some guys we can get if we want them.

It was just a little bit of sarcasm buddy. I think we have some good lbs on the team now. Chavis isn't known for bringing in 5 stars. He is known for making them

From Scout:

A versatile big athlete, Lathan is comfortable with his hand down playing end in the 4-3 as well as dropping into coverage as a linebacker when his team goes to a 3-4. He's an instinctive defender with plus athleticism. He changes directions well and has long strides in order to gain ground on plays going away from him. He has long arms that can clog passing lanes and he's solid against the run. Will continue to gain size/strength - Scott Kennedy

Honestly both McFarland and Lathan look like 3-4 OLBers to me. I've watched every game they've played on the high school level.

Maybe we could get him. He is from the same school as Curtis Riser.

He's one of the ones I was talking about.e all know Texas always has quite a few LB prospects and next years class seems to have quite a few.Texas is likely only taking 2 maybe 3 so we should be able to battle Oklahoma,TT and TAM for the rest if we choose.Just depends on how the coaches feel about the instate kids.It looks like we could take 4 from instate if we choose so we might not go out of state for many if any.

Add Jeremy Doucette of Cecilia, 6'1" 235 lbs. Made all-state hm despite playing hurt most of the season. At full speed, he brings the house!

Someone from the North La. tell me about Torshiro Nagashima Davis.

Kid has some impressive offers and he's def. looks the part but there's no video anywhere of him.

He's out of Woodlawn Shreveport
