Thinking about possibly going through and collecting some of these images and putting them in a photobucket account. Maybe linking it in this thread. As people put in photos, add to the page. Could organize it into categories. Dunno, just a thought. OB board outdoor photos.....something like that. Just a way of putting all the photos in thumbnail form for people to peruse.

That would be a good idea. I think it would be great to organize it by areas of the country or states, and maybe national parks.

Yea. I got a rebel xs with the basic 18-55 mm lens and a 75-300mm. Once I learn how to use it I should start getting some good stuff.

Fantastic. I have the Pentax k-x. About to purchase a walkaround lens, 18-250mm. Shoot in RAW and use lightroom to develop your photos. You can get a 30 day free trial from Adobe. I haven't found an alternative to lightroom yet, but if someone knows one I am certainly all ears.

I am creating the photobucket account OBofTD right now. It will take me a little bit of time to get the photos in since I am on and off of this thing.

Here is a link to the start.

LINK

Password is tigerdroppings I am not uploading pictures which contain personal photos, if you want to do so you can. I would hope all photos would be uploaded to this thread then we can move the ones we want to the account. I will work on it, and when I get all the photos downloaded we can organize by area. Anyone who wants to jump in can do so as well. So far, it is just the first page of the thread.

If you want to see some great photos of the Mat-su valley, North of Anchorage click this link. Not my photos but some of these are spectacular. I have lived in Big Lake, Meadow Lakes, Wasilla and Palmer and some of that area is incredibly spectacular and the most accessible in the State of Alaska.

Man, you seem to have missed the point of the thread and the board as a whole. Get that comic shite out of this thread and get the porn out of here before you get a ban.

Beautiful......gonna climb Baker one day. Went snowshoeing two weeks ago but there wasn't much snow. Very fun though. You should check out Hidden Lake lookout. I just found out about it.
