What? Can't hear you!

Anyways Hatcher is probably the worst athlete of any safety in the SEC. Can't cover a chair.

We have too many great safeties and other DBs for him to be playing on a regular basis in my opini

Ditto. Arguably gave away the Arkansas game, not an easy feat for someone on the defensive side of the ball

Sit Francois; move Hatcher to WLB.

Hatcher has a knack for stopping the run.... His build reminds me of Harry Coleman, I don't think he'd have any trouble moving to OLB and contributing. This talk about him being a terrible athlete and not a contributor for LSU are a bunch of people that don't know what they are talking about. Even though he didn't start his entire career at LSU, he has been a solid special teams player for us prior to this season. Let's not act like the guy can't play defense, he just doesn't have the speed to provide over the top coverage on deep routes. Put him at linebacker, I don't see any reason why he'd have problems with any of the LB defensive assignments.

Hatcher and Taylor should not play. both take the worst angles I have ever seen in football!

We need to start Reid back there full time and let the others battle for the other spot. Luckily for us, Hatcher wouldn't win that battle. I like the idea of letting Hatcher compete with Francois at LB... he's much more physical than Francois imo.

He probably has the worst instincts of any safety ive ever seen. The dude always takes a horrible angle to the ball. He also always goes for the big hit which leads to missed tackles. Watch the cam newton run and check out Karnell hatcher. Watch the two huge touchdowns against arkansas. Both horrible angles taken and going for the big hit

Craig Loston needs to make a impact, #1 Safety that came out so this sophmore year should be his Intro to the world.... we already know this kid can hit...I really wouldnt be surprised to see him at PR or KR either....he was a return specialist in HS and has taken a few back

I rather see Loston at the starting position than Reid or hatcher and I think we will

Why would anyone want to piss away a guy like Hatcher? You don't just quit on him. You work with him, teach him, raise him, and turn him into a starter. He should be a LB. He stops the run well. I like him.

What I'm saying is, if he doesn't do well at safety, then move him. Don't give up on him.
