Cooked 2 gallons of venison chili last night. I looked at a bunch of recipes and made my own up.

3 bags Frozen onion
2 bell pepper
7-8lbs ground venison
1 large and one small can of tomatoes
2 cans tomato sauce
1/2 cup (or so) chili powder
2-3 tbsp cumin
1/4-1/2 cup corn starch (depending on how thick you like yours)
Smoked chipolte tabasco
1-2 tbsp red pepper flakes
2 Shiner Bock
Salt to taste

Saute veggies in olive oil
Add meat and brown
dump in tomatoes and sauce and beer
add powdered spices
bring to a boil
taste, adjust spices

It's gonna be good!

Just got started by taking a pork loin and cutting it into chops. They are marinating in the fridge in Italian dressing with teriyaki, L&P, bourbon, and fresh ground pepper.

Marinated chicken thighs and pork chops last night. Will put on the grill at 4 pm while it's still warm outside.
Will serve with french bread.

Saute Crab fingers, home made French bread for dipping. Will serve some special wing drummets and any other nibbles I can think of between now and grocery shopping.

We have tiramisu for dessert

Bao Bao Asian Market in Monroe, frickin' Food Mecca of Louisiana!(stole the title from Sterlington once Spice got moth balled). They carry live blue on Fridays each week and they have a tank with Dungeness and lobsters...$11 a lb for the dungeness and $3 a lb for the blues. I'm sittin' on 17 lbs of crab for my redneck boys to scarf down.
