Flynn should go to the either the Vikings or the Panthers. I think Vikings will draft a QB in the first round but I don't think Carolina will go that route b/c they spent an early pick on Clausen. I don't think they are sold on Clausen yet and having a young QB like Flynn come in and challenge him for the starting job would be in their best interest instead of relying on Rex Grossman.

Luck > Flynn + Clausen. Clausen in the 2nd round is not enough of an investment to be passing on Luck for Carolina. You draft Luck and hope you can develop Clausen and turn him into another pick in a year or two. You don't pass on Luck.

Don't use the word retarded arse. D. Bowe faces the best defensive back from the other team every week. I was not slighting Cassel. But he doesn't have as many bullets in his gun as these other QB's. Bowe has had an All Pro year by any standard. Manning and Brees have been forced to throw because their running backs were hurt. Matts interception rate is great , like you said, he doesn't have to win with his arm.

don't be so sensitive. just pointing out that your arguement is null/void.
the point is, if manning or brees were QBing in KC, i don't think Bowe's stats would be much better than they are now. If anything somebody else's stats would be better cause brees and manning would make more options. So maybe Cassel is the reason he's been this good? ahhhhh, food for thought.

fact is, flynn is going to have to show a whole lot more than he has so far, and that isnt going to happen in green bay.

This. GB has their starter. They have no real commitment to Flynn. I think he could perform well given the chance to compete.

considering his QB? His QB has improved just as much as he has. 24 tds and 5 ints? yeah, too bad his QB sucks

uh. I watch every Chiefs game this year. Matt was not that impressive early. Some were calling for his head. Then he was hurt due to the emergency surgery he had a few weeks ago. Brody Croyle SUCKED arse that game.
D Bowe has been good, but against great corners he struggles. He has also dropped passes again this year especially early.
No doubt he has been their best receiver, but no way is he close to being the best in the league.

Would about Dolphins. They have some descent WR's and a capable TE. They just need a qb and draft a rb out of this class

he sucked games 1 and 3. THAT'S IT been on fire ever since (except for the appendix game, but come on). and if you don't see how good bowe is and always had the potential to be, you're crazy. Those 2, in that system = $. KC gonna be here for a while. especially since the rest of the division is in chaos

Matt Flynn
His name was brought up again today as a QB that could be an interest to teams in need. Would he be better than an unproven rookie?

And is D. Bowe the best wide out in the pros this year? Considering his quarterback. He has been a touchdown machine.

1)*If your 1st lame attempt(same player but change the subject) to hijack your own thread before you have posted it...then try again...harder !!

2)**2nd effort much better. In a short paragraph you have changed the player, the position, the team, the subject and then add in some editorial commentary. I guess this helps to keep
others from hijacking your thread. Just do it yourself!

Saints should go ahead and trade Drew Brees for some defensive help and then trade for Matt Flynn. They are a QB and a couple of defensive players away from becoming the next NE. I mean Brees can go the route of Drew Bledsoe and Flynn can lead the Saints to 3 championships.

What is your definition of playmaker?

I didn't say DBowe wasn't a playmaker. I said Johnson and White are better WR's b/c they have better playmaking ability. I also rank a receiver on consistency. If you look at Bowe's stats, he was taken out of 6 games. Johnson and White faced the same type of double teams but played at a high level for almost every game. I also have to point out that neither of those two were in the dog house at any point in the season. DBowe has been terrific and deserving a trip to the pro bowl but he's is NOT the best WR in the NFL.

Carolina's problems don't solely rest on QB. There's talk that Steve Smith isn't likely to return. Gettis and LaFell as starting WR's next season? I say it's 50/50 they trade down for 2 or 3 early picks.

Tennessee has a want for a new quarterback. In fact, they appear desperate. Flynn probably would be a big help to that organization.

The Vince Young/Kerry Collins/Matt Flynn QB merry-go-round would be interesting to watch.

Flynn will probably go somewhere and compete for a job. No body will put all of their eggs in that basket, on the other hand, every team in need of a QB will want to give him that shot

Of course not, he doesn't provide as much sample size as Cassel did and not nearly the upside as Schaub back in Atlanta. He's going to go to a team to challenge an incumbent whether it be a young QB-in-grooming or a fading star.

They always talk about how the Dolphins drafted Henne because he was a 4 year starter at Michigan and had "big game experience" and has dealt with adversity...... Henne now has 30 NFL starts under his belt. I'll take Flynn and his 1 year of college experience and 1 NFL start over Henne any day!!!
