Fished Toledo Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to pre fish the lake for the LSU fishing team qualifier. Tournament was today and we got 20.09lbs on 5 fish. Big fish of 8lbs.
Thanks for the help on the rods too. I got the Shimano Cumara (didn't pay full price) and that all star platinum rod is pretty nice.

we had 5 good fish early that would have run about 14. Our trolling motor died and like 11 due to the 30mph wind and 4ft waves we were in. i lucked out and hooked up the big one at about 1.
That rod is VERY nice. Super light.
caught 11 today on a rattle trap and the big one on a spinner (only because i popped my trap 2 casts earlier).
Trap was the bait to have, but a few hit the spinner on occasion as well. We just tried to weave through the stumps because the lake was 8ft low.
eta: 3-10 ft of water

we came in first. i'll post a link to the website when the picture of us and the fish is up.
And yeah you will. That was the only one i lost in 4 days thankfully. Had a couple little tricks work for getting them unstuck constantly.
