Wasn't Chris Garrett suppose to be ...

Better than JJ and JL?
Now, ZM will come in and be John Elway, too?
Will the extremely supportive and smart LSU fans say the same shite every time a new QB comes into the fold?
Really?
This is why people laugh at this fanbase. You do the coaches and players a great disservice with the negative and hostile comments. Grow up or stop claiming to be a LSU fan. Most have never worn a jersey nor touched a field, yet you know so much about a game you've never played at this level or people you've never met.

Yep, as long as they are being compared to Jarret Lee and Jordan Jefferson, its called hope.

It's the nature of the beast. If posts were limited to those that were logical, realistic and knowledgeable, man this would be one small and boring little forum!

What is the point of your thread?

Mett will come in and be the starter, but JJ will immediately become the better quarterback and the fans will scream for him to play anytime Mett throws an incomplete pass.

not EXACTLY the same thing. This guy has at least proven himself at a level higher than High School. And it isn't like he would need to light the world on fire to take over as a starting QB for LSU.

Uh, Chris Garrett had some serious talent as we saw in his spring game. He got fat as frick.

O.K. Mr. Wizard. People laugh at all fanbases to some extent, especially those of the dominant programs. You know why? Because they're Fanatics!!

general rantard philosophy is that any LSU QB who has not played is a Heisman in waiting.

Please don't create threads when you have no clue what you're talking about.

I think me partying my arse of at LSU for 8 years qualifies me as an LSU fan. I did attend a kicking camp at LSU, so technically I touched the practice field.
ETA: I ran out on the field in 1997 and somehow cut my hand on the bottom of one of the goal posts. So technically I have touched the field, I've even bled on it.

You sound very well informed so I will take your argument as so.

probably was before he got fat. was a 3 star with cement feet though, not high expectations when he arrived. I don't like this thread

Pardon me, you're a Duck for goshsakes!! A Duck in a little sailor suit...how dare you come on here and lecture LSU fans...granted I agree there's some overzealous fans who believe they know more than God about football and whose criticisms are over the top...but we abide them because we know that even in their overzealous, football player-wannabe worst...they love LSU...but you're a duck! That Quacks me up!! You're from the Pac-10...not exactly a powerhouse...congrats on making it to the game...there's a part of me (the part that believes if you cheat there should be consequences) that actually wants the Ducks to win...but really, don't EVER come on this board again and lecture LSU fans on how to be fans...we're just fine...we've got TWO of those crystal footballs to your none...so go teach Cal or OSU or Stanford how to be fans...Quack off!!

I don't care about anything else you said, but where the hell did you get this?
