Second Breadwinners....though the last time I was there a few weekends ago it wasn't as good as I remember it.

If they have it on special, get the dish that has hash browns, sausage, egg, a biscuit, all covered in gravy and topped with pico. You won't eat for two days afterward, but it's worth it.

There is some Mexican place on Mckinney that is very good. The name escapes me right now...

That site appears to be very out-of-date, so I'd be careful. A much better resource is guidelive.com or the Dallas Observer.

I didn't know there is a Palm and Morton's in Dallas - two of my favorites. How can I go wrong at either place?

I'm thinking the Palm on Thursday night, Saturday brunch at Bread Winners, Saturday night at Morton's and McDonald's on Sunday since I will be one bankrupt puppy by then.

If you're a fan of Morton's and the Palm, then more power to you. IMO there are MUCH better places to eat in Dallas, including steakhouses. But it's your trip, so have a blast.

The last time I sat next to Staubach was at Mia's.

In 1973, my step Dad, another real estate dude, Roger Staubach, and I had lunch at the Dallas Petroleum Club. I was 17. I had forgotten about it till this thread.

Bonnells - LINK
Went there last week when I was in town for the Saints game. Mini Elk Tacos were great...along with Elk and Buffalo tenderloins. Chef/Owner was a real nice guy, I believe he even went to culinary school in New Orleans.

A dallas restaurant thread and nobody's mentioned Snuffer's yet? Not fine dining, but I used to wear that place out back in the day. Cheese fries
