Which is the best? Cost is not an issue.

In my opinion, the best are (in order):

The Mansion
Bijoux
The French Room

Braggadocio.

I have a policy never to request admin, but would you request for this to be moved to the F&D board so we might get better responses? I'm interested as well.

The last time I sat next to Staubach was at Mia's.

Eh, they've redone it and I've heard very mixed things.

So if I stay at the Adolphus, you think they'll give me a coupon for a free appetizer?

Also, add Toy's Thai as one of my favorites in town. Haven't had it in a long time though.

There are several outstanding beef-lovers restaurants. I think my top few will be these in any order:

Bob's Steak and Chop House
Al Biernats
Del Frisco's Double Eagle

Salerno's in Flower Mound

It is a bit out of the way...but everything in DFW is 20-25 minutes away. Salerno's is a little farther from those in Dallas.

But it is a very good Italian Restaurant. One of my fav's.

I've been there a couple of times. Its good but not worth the drive good. Dallas does have a dearth of Italian places.

True, but hopefully that will change with the addition of La Fiorentina and Lucia.

Restaurant scene in Dallas is very volitale. Best choice is to go with steak houses, mexican or old(er) school spots like Javier's.

Mansion is good.
