So for all the "Cotton Bowl is better" crowd

I just watched 8 minutes of opening show coverage for the Cap One Bowl on the ESPN Bowl Selection show. They say this is the best non-BCS bowl. They could have said the only non-BCS Bowl top 10 matchup is LSU was in it. The Cap One Bowl gets a ton of hype, meanwhile the Cotton Bowl hasn't even been shown on the bottom scroll yet.

Isn't the Cotton on FOX this year? If so, that might explain it. Would also mean that FOX is going to push us a hell of a lot.

The only thing ever said on ESPN that you can take as the unvarnished, unbiased truth is when they say "ESPN is great." Anything else is, to a greater or lesser extent, about ESPN.

Yep. We got passed over and it sucks. Hope all the pro Cotton bowlers like what they get. A fired up, scrappy aTm team that will vastly outnumber LSU fans. It will be a no win situation. If we beat the much lower ranked aTm it will hardly garner any attention. But if we lose it will be the iconic upset of the bowl season and will do nothing but build up our hated recruiting rival and legitimize their turnaround.

The Cap One is on fox at noon along with 5 other games.
The cotton is on Fox on a Friday night and the only football game one. I'll fricking take it.
