is if they schedule all of their OCC games against the SEC. Have yourself a pseudo SEC run so to speak.

since their conference schedule is so weak, the only way i give them cred is if they schedule at LEAST 3 top 25 ooc opponents. and not the #24 guys. schedule some top 10 guys, damnit. fsu did it yrs ago and got them on the map. they refuse to schedule a top team unless it's a home and home. i call bull shite. get your rep. schedule lsu in baton rouge, bama in tuscaloosa, osu in columbus. texas in austin. they want the reward w/o paying the price. pussies.

to add that THEY are calling foul because the big boys won't play them at their house where it would cost us millions of dollars to do that. if they want the gold they should have to step up and do what it takes. usl passed the hat some yrs back when they made a push for cred. played okie lite and i think auburn. they guaranteed those teams lots of bucks and those teams came to lafayette. screw this socialism crap they're talking about; going to use lawyers to get them to the nc.

If they can't play an SEC schedule, then 2 games a week. Their normal Tu/Wed/Th game then a Sat game to boot.

It'll show them how hard the SEC is and if they go 24-0, then maybe.

They need to fill up their non-conference schedule with as many top-notch opponents as possible. In 1981, Bobby Bowden played these five opponents on the road: Nebraska, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and LSU ALL IN A ROW. That's how you get respect. There should never be any FCS schools on the schedule even if they are your alma mater, Chris Petersen I'm looking at you.

Boise State seems to be coming around on the issue a little bit by refusing to continue their series with pitiful in-state rival Idaho unless it's a one time thing every couple years that's played on the blue turf. They're basically telling them to frick off. Good for them.

As for TCU, if they receive an all-sports invite to the Big East, the Horned Frogs should jump without a second thought. If they don't, TCU should never bitch about not receiving a fair shot ever again.

Two step process. In this order:

1.) Win the WAC.

2.) Win all the playoff games.

(they won't be "legit" until a playoff is in place)

if they get in the championship now, fans of big conferences will complain.

if they dont get in the championship now, Boise fans will complain.

They only way to settle it is on a field, between the lines.

TCU could easily schedule anyone in the nation. They just need to agree that their "Home" game be at the Death Star. That way teams wouldn't lose millions to play them. If they scheduled 2 of Bama/LSU/Ohio State/Florida/Texas/Oregon in a year and won, they'd have a case.

Nothing.

I will admit they can possibly beat a team in the MNC game that has been beat up by tough schedule all year while Boise can rest players all year due to their pansy schedule.

They simply don't deserve even a shot. Nor did Tulane in 98 when I don't seem to recall anyone was clamoring for them to be in the picture.

This is all about a playoff and the media wanting a playoff. None of those idiots actually believe Boise or TCU could go undefeated in any of the major conferences.
