I have a JD Gator. Perfect for farm work, not so much for rough terrain. Mine is the traditional 2x4, they do make newer models in 4x4 with bigger engines. Our main use is in pastures carrying feed / hay etc. I do not ue it to hunt with - Honda foreman does that
One big dislike I have is that it is a open belt drive (I can see this slipping in wet stuff). Also has the smaller single cylinder motor (basically a 15 HP lawnmower engine. Would prefer something more like an ATV engine.

i pushed for Polaris.....looks like he is going to buy the bigger engine Mule.....they are just so slow tho!

We had an Artic Cat Prowler. Needs bigger than stock tires, but it was good.
