Washington State has actually been playing much better ball recently. They were very competitive with teams like Stanford and Oregon. Before this season, I thought Paul Wulff was the worst coach but it looks like he's finally got them moving in the right direction.

eh not really. They scored 2 garbage TDs against Stanford to make that score look better than it was and took a bunch of cheap shots or Oregon players. Neither game was close

Washington would have lost by like 70 points to those teams last year. Now, they're only losing by 10 or 20 points and hanging in there for two or three quarters. I'd say that's improvement.
