Ok, folks, here it is. It is now scheduled for DTV Channel #792, NOT in PPV, which is what I've been saying all along.
This is for Non-Louisiana as well as ALL subscribers to the ESPN gameplan. I have confirmed this as well as on my DirecTV schedule on my TV.

DON'T DOUBT ME!!!!![link=(ULM vs LSU)]LINK[/link]

To my friend in the NYC area, I don't mean this as a slam. It's only that my experience in having ESPN Gameplan is AWESOMeE!
If any LSU game is televised anywhere in the world, I will receive it! I once saw a game years ago where the only outlet was a local TV station in Houston that carried the game live, and I got it on ESPN Gameplan.
This package is AWESOME!!!
ENJOY!!!!

I've since been aware that the link I posted may not be working. Here is the DirecTV link for the game:

NOT outside Louisiana, which I've been saying all along. The DirecTV ESPN Gameplan stations are from 788 through 793. If you have DirecTV inside Louisiana and want to see this game, you must pay DTV a fee, bacause LA is in the area covered by Tigervision and they will command a fee for you to see this game in Louisiana, whether or not you are a DirecTV Gameplan customer or not. This information is for ESPN Gameplan subscribers OUTSIDE the Tigervision broadcast area, which inludes Louisiana.

I hope that you can catch the live game video somewhere on Saturday, my friend.

Can I order just this game? Or do I have to get the whole Gameplan deal?

Thanks, DenverTigerMan. I checked my Gameplan schedule and was about to post the LSU game as being on ch. 792. Then I saw your post. I agree - seems Gameplan "always" shows LSU games - in the last several years for sure.

I'm talking out of state (Louisiana). The game is blacked out in the state of Louisana on Gameplan ch. 788 - 793. Filmmaker45, if you plan to view the game in Louisiana I don't see it on the PPV channels at 6 pm Central on the DTV channels preceding 788 (like 786, etc.). As usual, if you are planning to watch the game on DTV, Dish, or cable in Louisiana you will need to pay to do so (unless you do ESPN3 on your PC). I don't know where (other than TigerVision PPV on cable) La. viewers will otherwise be able to find the game. If it eventually shows up on DTV as PPV (prob. won't be), I will try to post this info. Your best bet (if you are in Louisiana) may be a Sports Bar - no guarantee of this either.

ETA - After reading other posts in this thread again, I forgot to add:

If you are not in Louisiana and want to view the game on DTV (and don't have the $120 Gameplan package) you most certainly can purchase the game from DTV. Will cost about $25, but if memory serves me right you can get all Gameplan games on Sat. for that cost. Contact DTV.

Hope I helped.

College football DirecTV viewers - I have never understood many of these posts for out of state (out of Louisiana) viewers.

I have had ESPN Gameplan (at about $100 - $120 per year) for the last 10 years. Anybody following LSU football on TV will get at least 2 games per year (sometimes 3). In addition (if you follow college football) many other significant games will show up and be viewable on these Gameplan channels each week. Yes, Virginia, not all nationally significant games are shown each week on NBC, CBS, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, Versus, BTN, CBSCHD, or your regional Sports Channel.

In fact, many games are picked up by Gameplan simply because they may be of interest to a vast audience despite the typical 17 point game spread. I have viewed many games in this category. Sure, video is not the best. Audio may be loud. But, if a person can't find 15 games worth at least briefly viewing (out of 120 - 150 games per year) on Gameplan you may have much better things to do with your time. At one time I certainly had better things to do with my time. Not now, however. For about $120 per year, what is better entertainment. Don't answer that - I said per year!!!

I love LSU football. Several times a year it happens to come on an ESPN Gameplan channel. I go with the flow.

What he said!

I haven't missed an LSU game in 3 years. ALL of them have been televised.

I end up watching all the rent-a-win games because the Tiger vision games are included in gameplan. AT no extra charge.

It looks like the game is also on ESPN3 for free to anyone outside of Louisiana. If true, I'll be able to watch it on my TV via my XBOX 360.

I think I'm more confused after reading this than before. Can someone tell me, very simply, how to get the game on Directv about 100 yards outside Tiger Stadium?

If you have DirecTV, you can get any game that's on Gameplan on a PPV basis (about $15 I think). Call DTV, or do it online, on the morning of the game. Only problem is that they don't put in on a high definition channel, even if the original broadcast is in high def.

Not so fast, my friend! I was responding to the question regarding New York (where I live). DirecTV typically blacks it out in Louisiana if the game is being carried by a local cable outlet.
