Barron came in from behind after getting beat on the angle he took and just outran him straightaway.
I don't recall Shep looking back after it became a footrace.
Shep just slowed down - apparently the initial burst of speed took it out of him to continue at that rate.

are you fricking serious? what an idiot if you really believe that. he couldn't catch randle is why he didn't tackle him. As for sheppard, i doubt he is the fastest person on the team, probably not in top 5. He has a great burst out of the gates and is very quick, but i imagine that RR, TT, PP and a few db's are faster than RS.

watch it again. RS has to turn as his run initially taking him to the sideline before slightly turning up. Barron has the angle the whole time.

Yeah and barron blew up his abs and groin trying to catch him at cruising speed. I think the RS turbo tank is about 45yds

Dude, go back and watch the replay...Barron potentially could have made contact with Randle by extending his arm...there is nor eason to take personal attacks...this has been discussed previously with many people seeing the same thing i did

RS was concentrating more on getting the ball high and tight. and that messed up his stride.
