I am 100% in favor of Lee starting, however I think that Auburn should be scared (and we should quietly be hoping for) that JJ will break his slump and come up with 3 or more scores against Auburn. JJ has been downright bad of late, but even I (one of his leading detractors) believe that he is better than his last few games.

On the flip side, JJ could be slightly offset, but if he gets PT and plays ok to solid, JJ can put us over the top with an ok game.

I would make a comment about Les and the Law of Averages, but he seems to have been granted immunity.

I'm not sure that's really the law of averages, but I see what you're saying...

Law of Averages vs Trend

If JJ breaks out great, but from what I've seen that would be long odds.

He's definitely better than he's been playing. Remember the GaTech game. I think all that coaching since then has done more harm than good.

This is the only opponent that JJ has ever had an A game against.

I also believe in the law of averages. However, Never bet against a hot or cold streak. Once it's broken then go back to the law of averages. JJ is on a big cold streak.

Looking back it wasn't really an A game either. He had a great first half to be sure, but the second half looked a lot like present day JJ.

2nd Half:
7/11 for 105 yards and 1 TD
1 rush for 7 yards

Is that not Solid?

______________

Law of averages doesn't apply to football. Outcome of a football game is not a random event. If it was most teams would win 50% of their games.

Definitely, but I believe that eventually some of those hot and cold streaks come back to a truer average, and I am hoping this weekend that that comes true for Jefferson. I'm kinda basing this on the belief that he is a 60% thrower who should have a nice game eventually to balance against his sub 50% games. Lee is a solid 70% thrower in my book right now, so I would ride him as a starter on my team.

I guess that I have made my points about who should start and play more, so I have cleared my heart and I am looking forward to this game with an open mind. That and a little booze should get me through it.
