NFL has a playoff system.

I guess none of y'all watched the saints
Sunday since there's a playoff system that "killed the regular season"!

Yeah, these people are just parroting information someone else has told them.

Would make the season more exciting. A loss or two doesn't knock you out of the NCG picture.

There has been 1 game in the history of the franchise of the Saints that I have been close to as excited as I am for every LSU game. It was in February of last year.

I either watch or go to all Saints and LSU games, but Hartley's shank vs Atlanta or losing to a undrafted rookie QB in his first start didn't bother me as much as an LSU loss would have because it's early in the season and the Saints can still make the playoffs. Regular season college games mean more (to me) than regular season NFL games.

And don't forget the end of last season when the Saints were resting starters, those games meant nothing.

College football has been around longer than any of us and has never had a playoff, and IMO that's one of the things that makes it great. The information age and new generation of fan that are only concerned with a "national championship" just don't get it, IMO.
