Is Nevis getting enough snaps off?

I agree; it seemed that they tired. We didn't have the pass rush at the end of the game. But let's give a little credit to Florida; they could have simply manned up and decided to fight a little more.

Drake is a fricking wrecking machine... I hated to see him on the sideline.

Florida was given 14 (arguably 21) of their 29 points ... JJ pic + the big KO return

but Florida did mount a drive and score to take the lead as the game was winding down ...

On LSU's tiring defense?

Even so, Florida only really scored about 8 to 15 points on the LSU Dee after the SEC-patented long "smash-mouth" drive.

I gotta think LSU was maybe a little tired

with peterson out, we cut down on our blitzing.we need to find a way to keep him hydrated.

Tough to get a rush when your best corner is on the sideline. Going zone in the backfield meant we were only rushing 4 on those 3rd downs. With that said, UF only drove the field twice and missed the field goals on one.

PP being out is like the QB being out. And yes our D was very tired.

I thought they were a little winded and worn down.

yes they did..and understandably so...no blame here

...because of the lack of Off from the 3rd qtr on, we placed too high of a demand on them...this was brought about from our Off play calling (or lack thereof).

it looked like they did to me. they never got any pressure after the half and lost the ability to stuff the run on a consistent basis.

seems like they don't have any depth and once the starting 4 or 5 guys get gassed, they go from very good to just good.

Allowing debose to score on that kick return was a brilliant strategy by miles in order to get the D some more rest.

I hope you are kidding...
It is NEVER a good strategy to let anyone score.

Seems like Florida's o-line picked it up in the second half, too. Brantley had more time to throw among other things. They must've got their asses tanned at halftime.

of course they were tired, did you see the effort they played with! Once FL started running the ball with the QB, it becomes a different game for the defence. It even slows down the pass rush because you have to worry about containment........
If it weren't for the 3rd down penalty on the first drive in the 3rd quarter, it might have gotten out of hand for FL and the D would have looked much different in the final quarter.
Guys played their asses off. The running QB at FL is a serious player! He will be trouble in the coming years, and he will probably make us look tired for a couple more years.
