JJ has thrown for:

13/32
105 yards
0 tds
4 ints.

(Yes that's two games).

Why is he going to start, let alone play against UF?

there is no defense at this point. Miles is thumbing his nose at everyone.

Miles is hoping we can hit them for 83 yards on the first play and only Jefferson can do it.

It is the want to use JJ that makes him an option. Not to be confused with the want for victory.

Better running game with a potential for a wide open, first-option receiver to catch the ball.

The more debates on it I read, the more I realized that both have their place in the offense. We've just been ahead in most games and are relying on the run game.

Jefferson's Rushing Stats

44 attempts
225 yards
5.1 ypc
2 TDs

Sack yardage has already been excluded from these stats.

If they primarily only use him running the ball I am fine with it. I wouldn't necessarily do it, but I will settle if it gets Lee on the field for the majority of the game.

What does his ypc look like without that 83 yd run?

Or better, what are his comparisons to Ridley look like?

3.3 ypc

I am not disagreeing with the idea Jefferson has not been good; however, if he has to play I could be ok with them just limiting it to the option/zone read game.
