Is that Rotolos still open around there? I remember trying to go there before a Hornets game last season and they were closed.

Would rather see Walk Ons in Covington where they are putting the Coyote Blues place... This area is starving for something like that...
You can't possibly mean this is as a compliment. Or is it?

Rookies - great concept. Average food and WORST mixed drinks in the area.

Covington area is starving for a cool place to watch the games in a good area. City sports was ok, another location where everything fails, Rookies is too small, and there big screen TV is too blurry, weird location too. The Sake place would be ok, just watch for cops on 190. Maybe even put a place out in that new shopping center Nor Du Lac. Beats the Texas Roadhouse..... But Coyote Blues in that location?? I'm not sure the northshore needs more mexican.....

I'm not saying this is great either, but why don't they just open up a Fox & Hound or Hooters up there?
Posted on 10/6/10 at 2:05 pm to BrockLanders
Covington vetoed a Hooters here, Fox and Hound would be great.

Isn't it bad enough they terrorize the good citizens of Louisiana with 2 horrific restaurants in Baton Rouge, now one in the big easy??? I'd like to let the foodies of NO know, that the crap they will be served is not indicative of what BR restaurants have to offer.

I don't know what the market is they are trying to draw. Tulane?
I don't think that's going to work at all.

Jefferson Parish perhaps, but it's not going to make it in NOLA. These owners really need to get this nonsense out of their heads.

I was surprised when I heard this news of them opening up this New Orleans location right now while they are just starting up the Lafayette location. I figured theyd put a little focus on Lafayette before they jumped into New Orleans.
But, I do think they are gonna kick arse being right there by the dome.

Experience has shown that location cannot be supported by Saints games alone (a total of 10 weeks including exhibition games). If they can't draw a crowd during the rest of the year they'll close pretty quickly. N.O. residents don't flock to that location, and tourists hit the other end of Poydras.

How are they going to afford the rent in that location?
