They don't contribute a fricking thing to the conference

They have a solid basketball program and a very good baseball program.

It's not Vandy, it's two elementary schools near their stadium.

Most probably are - but there's always the tools that could care less about their own mess.

don't get this tailgating thing. Drinking in a parking lot for hours before a college game of 19 year olds? Some people need to get a life

Tailgating IS their life. It's "Pedal to the Metal" for those 7 home games a year and however many away games they attend. Obsessive-Compulsive NEED to drink before, during and after the game too. Can't do anything even remotely related to the game sober. That's against Louisiana Neanderneck policy. Trash the home and away campus. Doesn't matter. Bayou State slob/pigs don't give a shite about anything but their own pleasure and amusement....

I think this is true for about 38% of our fan base. The remaing 62% are little more mature and considerate.

Problem is, the immature jerks (of all ages) seem to be increasing in number.

I drove through the area Vandy is talking about and I don't think it the schools are a good choice for tailgating. It's a small area and the layout is not very good. They need to be in a larger parking lot.
Besides, it's a quiet residential neighborhood across the street from Vandy a few blocks down. You guys have to remember Vandy is a very small school. Vandy does not have the large campus other SEC schools have. It's a very small campus.

I remember that tailgating in 1907 was so much more refined...

I am sure that there were no signs at the parking lots that said alcohol was prohibitted. If there had been, no one would pay to park there. The schools wanted their cake and to eat it too.

There weren't. We did not try to hide the fact that we were drinking. Also we did not trash the lot we were in either and I didn't see any tailgates getting carried away with trashing the place. LSU fans that typically travel have a higher degree of respect, for the most part. I think the fans that don't travel are the one's that usually act like asses. but that's just my opinion.

The neighborhoods surronding Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha always looked forward to the LSU tailgaters.
