This is probably the most idiotic thing I've read/heard. So now Miles is making up a fictitional/stereotypical type of fan that is not happy with him?

This reminds me of the book 1984 where anybody that has a thought crime and does not have their nose up big brother's arse is automatically an adulterer/terrible person/thief/murderer. This is in-freakin-sane! And some of you dolts just follow right along and agree with the stupid SOB.

So what are our options as fans? Invent a new sound that
Shows displeasure at our coaches?
Or
Www.weRBOOingMiles.com
And let folks sign up?

Since there isn't a way to Point our frustrations
Directly at Miles/Crowton, what's the next step?
Watching us get our arse kicked and cheering about
It?

Maybe this was the most idiotic thing Ive read or heard. HEs talking about ppl booing JJ. And a person who would boo a college kid playing football fits that sterotype. And dont say that you are "booing the coach"

I'm quite sure that our current QB has received more than his share of honey...nothing wrong with that. But it is apparent that neither honey nor vinegar is going to make him more than he is. He is an average back up QB at best. I do not mean to disparage the young man's character or personal value, but as an athlete, he is what he is.
Coach Miles is putting off a difficult decision for some reason I cannot understand. What he may not realize, however, is that at some point his team may make it for him. When we lose our first game (at this rate we likely will) and the defense has carried more than their weight, there will be some grumbling and finger pointing. Dissention could set in. I played college football and saw a similar situation first hand.
Miles has an obligation to the team before his feelings for any individual.
All that said, I don't like booing.

Massive kudos to Coach Les Miles for standing up to the pathetic chorus of boos heard in Tiger Stadium last night. Even if the booing is directed at the coaching staff, our magnificent young players, who are without question playing their hearts out to now be 4-0, have no way of knowing that, and can only feel demoralized by the verbal stench imposed upon them by such childish adults.

he's digging his own grave. if he could put a better product on the field then this wouldn't happen. i don't boo and never will. that being said i understand why some people would. miles needs to stfu and give the people a reason to cheer.

I respectfully disagree. I would bet a lot of money that the only player demoralized by the booing is JJ. The defense and most of the offense has no reason to believe that anyone is unhappy with them at all. They are playing well and playing their hearts out. JJ is playing his heart out but he is not playing well at all. He is the one player holding the team back from a performance standpoint. He should be as disappointed in his performance as the fans are. Coach Miles (for JJ's sake) should sit him down and try something else. This is standard procedure when a strategy fails in anything. He is hurting JJ by not giving the kid a serious chance to re-access his strengths and weaknesses.

And again, I don't like booing - I understand it.

As per Merriam Webster's definition, he is getting paid to play the game. Is it OK to criticize now?

Miles was right to address the booing.
As one poster said, boo the refs, but don't boo your team.

i like Miles, ive defended him and Jordan a million times, but if he continues to doom this team to failure by not even trying something new, he can honestly go frick himself.

Who boos when a team wins the game?
1. People frustrated by watching four quarters of offensive futility.
2. People tired of seeing all that recruited talent going to total waste.
3. People who pay good money, live and breathe LSU Tigers, but find themselves bored to tears by lackluster performance and play-calling.
4. People who cannot understand how this product can be presented by its head coach as being anything but a "fail" in terms of coaching and execution by QB and receivers.
