They have made pretty good progress towards selling the windows up to this point. They have sold 20+ windows in less than a week. Last week they had 90 sold and their is 112 sold as of this week and the week isn't over yet. I read in an article that Alleva's goal is to have all the windows sold by the end of the football season. Might be realistic considering they are 1/4 of the way there and we are still in the middle of Sept.

Poo-dye. Sounds like a dish that you would see in a Thai restaurant.

What comes from purchasing a window exactly?

Hey Hey Hey!!!!!! Watch it Francis...........

Got to start some where right? At least it's a start.

I'm with you though, it's sad that something as minor as this has taken this many decades to get fixed, but for decades LSU hasn't given a rats arse about their facilities until just the last 10 years. It took that long for LSU to finally get some REAL visionary leaders in place that make things happen instead of milking the political system and being fat cats with the status quo.

Why are you so freaking negative?

ETA: I just did a search of your posting history and you could possibly be the most negative person and that is saying something. Are you sure you are a LSU fan?

Well in the words of Alleva it would be:

"Donors that fund the replacement of a window will be permanently recognized around Tiger Stadium for their support"

Wasn't there a story in the Reveille saying the windows would be purple and gold?

Why not backlight those windows with purple & gold on gameday/ night?

Why would I want better upgrades to T.S., if I wasnt dumbass?

Recruiting is basically an arms race and having a decent T.S. would be a major help.

Are you really a Tiger fan for being happy with broken windows and sub par stadium?

Also there is a plan in place to completely redo the outside of the stadium area just to make it look a little nicer. i think the inside should stay the same, I like the historic/crappy look of the inside of the stadium, gives it character

So that's what a $4000 window looks like.

We aren't getting "out-facilitied" in the SEC any time soon. The Football Operations Center is a freaking Taj Mahal, with NFL quality amenities all over the place.
From a fan's POV though, I agree that the stadium could use a facelift. Windows are a good start, but more needs to be done. Whether or not we can raise the money to do that soon is another matter.
