unless you've already seen those. They only had 3 done before. Now they did that whole section. Hopefully they have at least one or two more sections done before the MS game. They sold some more too. They had about 90 or so sold before. They're up to 112 now.

I walked over there after class this evening and got some pictures. My laptop is broke but I'll go to computers in library tomorrow and post them. They have a big banner hanging up next to the windows

From the looks of these windows they do not open. Lord knows the old ones didn't open and close very well either. At least that is my recollection from living in North end of stadium in early 80's. I remember freezing to death during spring semester when we couldn't get windows completely shut and they would start steam plant due to not enough days in a row below freezing. We would stuff towels, etc. to block North wind out of dorm room. Man, those were the good old days. These new windows look really nice.

So that's what a $4000 window looks like.

The new pics look great, windows look great
Long over due.

My question is will LSU look to repaint the stadium? I don't mean paint it some stupid color, but like a gray or white color. Concrete Color? It would be nice to see them prime and paint the entire bowl of the stadium to go with the windows and it would cover up all the bird crap and spots that are all over the lower bowl. If you look at the pics you see all those spots of different coloring on the concrete around the new windows? Wouldn't paint just cover all that up and make it look uniform? I'm praying they do this along with the windows!!

unfortunately, the pigeons will just crap on it while the paint was drying to create a nice tie-dye effect

Pressure wash would be as good as paint probably. Did miracles for the dome's roof

While I do agree with you and I am a purist and traditionalist to the fullest extent. When all is said and done this will look really good and is a wonderful improvement to Tiger Stadium.

Wasn't there a story in the Reveille saying the windows would be purple and gold?
